Carmen's Cafe Nicole is one of our favorite restaurants. For my dollar, I have not tasted a better clam chowder in a bread bowl anywhere. The staff is extremely friendly, and the location is perfect. In the middle of the winter you can have a window booth and watch the snow falling over Plymouth Harbor, or in the summer sit outside on their patio. If you are ever in the area, make it a point to stop on by for a meal.

I've been going to Mamma Mia's Restaurant since I was 6mths old, first the Kingston location, and for over 20 years, the Plymouth location. No matter how many pizza places I go to, nothing touches their pizza. Good prices, a friendly atmosphere and a fantastic view of the harbor, the Plymouth location is another must visit if you are in the mood for pizza when in Plymouth. Visit their website to find their other locations as well.

If you visit Plymouth, you can see THE Plymouth Rock. While smaller than most people think, it is a part of history, and I think everyone should visit it at least once. It's free to see, right on the waterfront, and about a 2 minute walk from the Mayflower II.

With a fantastic view of Plymouth Harbor, Ziggy's is a great place. I've been going there since I moved to Plymouth when I was 4, and my father used to visit there when he was younger still. They have a great selection of ice cream, and are across the street from the ocean. If your in Plymouth, stop by for some great ice cream.
