The Portland Head Light is the oldest Lighthouse in Maine. Located in Fort Williams Park, it is a wonderful place to visit year round. In the summer you can walk the grounds and visit all the old World War II buildings, but during the winter you can see some pretty spectacular weather. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

Signal Hill is located in the Saguaro National Park in Tucston, AZ. About 20 minutes from town, Signal Hill is part of a network of hiking trails located all throughout the park. One of the easier trails, the rewards are immediate. At the top of the trail you walk around a large mound of rocks, with ancient artwork on them. Petroglyphs cover most of the rocks, some of them dating back thousands of years. They are very very cool, and a must see if you are in the area.
