A stone's throw from Plymouth Rock, Brewster Park is a great place for picnic, walking the dog, or just going for a stroll. It is a popular place for wedding photo's during the summer, and a great place to watch the 4th of July parade. There is a walking path which goes from the water front back to the Jenny Grist Mill, which is the oldest in the United States. This is a great place to visit any time of year.

The Portland Head Light is the oldest Lighthouse in Maine. Located in Fort Williams Park, it is a wonderful place to visit year round. In the summer you can walk the grounds and visit all the old World War II buildings, but during the winter you can see some pretty spectacular weather. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

The Cape Cod Canal is the widest sea-level canal in the world, and used by over 20,000 ships every year. Along either side of the canal, are the service roads, which are now used by Walkers, Runners and Bikers every single day. About 7 miles from end to end, the path is relatively level, and a great place to spend an afternoon. This particular entry point is 2.5 miles from the ocean and beach. The Scituate Lighthouse is just a hair shy of 200 years old. Completed in 1811, ownership has passed through many hands, residing currently with the Scituate Historical Society. This is a popular place for wedding photos, and a great place to watch the sunrise.

Beavertail is the third oldest lighthouse in the US, and a great place to visit if you are in the area. A fantastic place to see it's panoramic view of Narragansett Bay.

The last Civil War vessel afloat, the USS Constellation, was built in 1854 and is the last all-sail warship built by the US Navy. After years of restoration, she was returned to the Inner Harbor on July 2, 1999. The USS Constellation is a sloop-of-war, or corvette, and the second United States Naval ship to carry this famous name.
