Carmen's Cafe Nicole is one of our favorite restaurants. For my dollar, I have not tasted a better clam chowder in a bread bowl anywhere. The staff is extremely friendly, and the location is perfect. In the middle of the winter you can have a window booth and watch the snow falling over Plymouth Harbor, or in the summer sit outside on their patio. If you are ever in the area, make it a point to stop on by for a meal.

I've been going to Mamma Mia's Restaurant since I was 6mths old, first the Kingston location, and for over 20 years, the Plymouth location. No matter how many pizza places I go to, nothing touches their pizza. Good prices, a friendly atmosphere and a fantastic view of the harbor, the Plymouth location is another must visit if you are in the mood for pizza when in Plymouth. Visit their website to find their other locations as well.

Jack's Hot Dog stand has been a landmark in North Adams for a very long time. Cheap food, friendly people, and a line out the door greet you every time. The food is great, greasy and cheap. This is a place to hit for some great food.

Grand Canyon Caverns is easy to find if you know where it is. Located on Mile 115 on Route 66, 63 Miles NE of Kingman AZ and 65 Miles West of Williams and the Grand Canyon Railroad. We visited there back in 2006 while driving up Route 66, and the place was awesome. Surrounded by 3,000,000 acres open land, you really need to visit this place if you are driving through. They are six hours from southern California, 2.5 hours from Phoenix or Las Vegas, and 1.5 hours from Laughlin, Lake Havasu or Williams.

Originally constructed as a movie set, it features wooden boardwalks, red brick streets, detailed old-fashioned town square, and centerpiece gazebo.
Considered Tucson’s premier “in-town” western town, over 500,000 people visit each year to enjoy the fine specialty shops and old-fashioned ambiance. An evening stroll in the soft glow of gas light adds to the town’s 19th century charm. (from their website).
When we visited, we had an hour wait for dinner, so instead of sitting down, we took a stroll around the Town. It's pretty small, you can walk from one end to the other in a few minutes, but there is so much to see. There is a live Stunt show every 30 minutes, lots of small shops, and a bunch of things to see, including an old western Jail.

WaterFire’s one hundred sparkling bonfires, the fragrant scent of aromatic wood smoke, the flickering firelight on the arched bridges, the silhouettes of the firetenders passing by the flames, the torch-lit vessels traveling down the river, and the enchanting music from around the world engage all the senses and emotions of those who stroll the paths of Waterplace Park (taken from their website)

With a fantastic view of Plymouth Harbor, Ziggy's is a great place. I've been going there since I moved to Plymouth when I was 4, and my father used to visit there when he was younger still. They have a great selection of ice cream, and are across the street from the ocean. If your in Plymouth, stop by for some great ice cream.
