This app is pretty cool. You can search flights, check security wait times find local hotels and more. When searching for a hotel, it gives you a list of everything that is nearby, clicking on a hotel name brings you to the full travelocity website for that hotel, which is nice, but I would have preferred to keep everything within the app.

I was unable to find any flight schedules, but I was able to search by flight number which would be very very useful. You can view departure time, weather and a map of your arrival and destination airports, and check security wait times at your airport.

The Hotel’s Near Me function worked great, listing every hotel nearby, but when you clicked on their name, it loaded up the full travelocity website. I think it would have been better if they had another screen with the address and phone number that you could click on.

There is a my trips section, which pulls the trips you have setup on the travelocity website once you input your account information.

I think this app would be a little more useful if it linked into Car Rentals, Local Restaurants stuff like that. But it’s a great first generation application and if they could bring the hotel side of things inside the sandbox, it’d be even better.
